Our History
2019
We met online in 2019 and after texting and video calls we came to know each other. A few months later we started long-distance dating. During our video calls we ate dinner, watched movies and talked about our lives. Due to the pandemic, we weren't able to see each other in real life for two years.
2021
Finally we met for real in the Netherlands. During the three weeks in the Netherlands, we knew we were meant for each other. We went to the famous spots in the country, like Amsterdam, Efteling, Utrecht and Volendam. We of course also enjoyed local food like bitterballen, haring and poffertjes.
2022
In May Miku came to live in the Netherlands. This year was full of travel and getting to know each other. We went to Belgium, Croatia, Germany, and Great Britten to see what Europe has to offer. Next to Europe we also went to Miku her home country Japan, Nick his first time. We spend time with the Family to start of the new year with a blast!
This was just the start of an amazing journey together that would continue in the years to come.
2023
This year was a big year for us. Not only did we travel to amazing places, we also made a promise to continue traveling the world together for the rest of our lives. On the 14th of October at restaurant with a romantic nightview of Rome, Nick proposed to Miku. She said "Yes"
Now
We welcomed our lovely daughter Lilly around Christmas 2023. Enjoying life with Lilly, learning languages and traveling. Still we are together doing what we love. We went to Texel and Scotland while looking for more adventures in the future.

Main Course (Choice menu)
- Pan-fried cod with tomato risotto, rainbow carrots, and thyme
- Entrecote of black Angus with chimichurri and sweet potato
- Ravioli with mushrooms and a young spinach sauce
Dessert
- Forest fruit bavarois with fresh fruit
- Coffee mousse with hazelnuts
- White chocolate and strawberry tiramisu

Open Playlist Dancing
On the wedding we will dance after the dinner on the boat. The fun addition will be that we ask you to add two songs to the playlist on Spotity. We will use that playlist at the wedding: Miku and Nick Wedding playlist
Our wedding in Japan
The big day in the east
We also have a wedding in Japan, Matsumoto on the 9th of November. The wedding will be in a traditional Japanese style at a shrine. After the ceremony, we will have dinner with our close friends and family.
We look forward to enjoying both weddings and celebrating our connection with everyone.
